HomeStats does not set any cookies. The only client-side state is one piece of browser local storage that remembers your theme preference.

What this site stores

HomeStats sets no first-party cookies and loads no third-party tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Microsoft Clarity, no advertising remarketing tag, no fingerprinting beacon, and no tag manager.

The only client-side persistence is a single localStorage key:

hs-theme — remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Stays on your device. Never transmitted to us.

Clearing it via your browser's site-data controls only means HomeStats forgets your theme preference.

Why no cookie banner

Because no first-party cookie identifies you and no third-party tracker is loaded by default, the site does not require an ePrivacy / GDPR cookie consent banner.

Server-side

Netlify, our hosting provider, retains short-lived edge access logs (IP, user-agent, request path) for security and abuse prevention. We do not export, analyze, or correlate those logs. See Netlify's privacy policy.

Third-party content

The map page embeds tiles from OpenStreetMap. When you load that page, your browser requests tile images from tile.openstreetmap.org. See OSM's privacy policy.

Do-Not-Track

We honor browser Do-Not-Track signals where technically feasible. There is nothing tracking-related to disable on our side because nothing is being tracked.
